On Friday 11-20-15 I went to Colorado. I went with my mom and my brother to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family. There was a lot of snow and I shoveled the driveway for my grandparents. I went to the Colorado museum and I saw dinosaurs and a real human heart.

I am thankful for my family. I am thankful for my brother, mommy, and daddy. I am thankful for my family members in Colorado, and I am thankful for getting to travel to Colorado for Thanksgiving. I am going to tell you one thing I am going to do there. My cousin, Macy, is having a birthday sleepover that I get to go to. I am thankful for Earth so much.

Veterans day is not a just a day off of school it is a day to honor the man and women that serve in our armed services.My two papas were in the army and the marine Corp.        

I am reading “The Chicken Squad.” It is about these four chickens who love helping this squirrel in the book. Here’s my silly book poem: Sugar is a chick, Her name is not Rick. She wears glasses, She doesn’t like classes. She is short, yellow and fuzzy. Her mom is tall, orange, and clumsy. She loves being yellow and fuzzy, but when she takes baths, she gets all sudsy. Sugar knows her shapes, Her favorite fruit is grapes.

African elephants live in Africa in the Savanna. They weigh 4-7 tons (8,000-14,000 lbs.) and are 8-14 feet tall. Their tallest point is at the top of the shoulders. They eat grass and leaves. The baby elephants have lions as their predators and a whole lot of lions can kill a mommy or a daddy elephant.

My favorite activities are softball, soccer, swimming, golf, dancing and other sports. I also like doing homework, but most of my favorite activities involve being active. I think it is so fun to play sports because you can let all of your energy out and when you fall your teammate can help you get back up. Another favorite activity is getting to go to Colorado. I was born in Colorado and I love getting to go back and see my family in my home town.
